Korean pop band NCT Dream at the Jamboree
The South Korean boyband NCT Dream performed for half an hour at the Jamboree Tuesday afternoon. Many dedicated fans had showed up to see the band.
The six young men have written songs that have more than 34 million views on YouTube. Two South Korean media outlets traveled all the way from South Korea to the Jamboree to cover the show.
Three Jamboree participants, aged 15, 15 and 16 also attended the show. All three were from South Korea, and had never seen the boy band perform before.
“It is very amazing to see the band this far from home. We feel very proud that a South Korean band is playing here at the Jamboree. It is also amazing that we flew this long way, and now we get to see them perform here,” said Heo I Jeong, Lee Seong Mon, and Oh Min Su.
They also added, “We are very big fans!”
The boy band did not disappoint their dedicated fans. When they got on stage, the performance did not lack energy. They jumped around the stage, singing and dancing. Throughout the whole show, the audience was shouting and wooing.
People were holding up small notes, showing the name of the band and waving the South Korean flag. And one girl was even carrying a back pack with pictures of the boys printed on it.
There is no doubt that this was a festive experience for everyone who attended. Everyone had a great time at the show.
